
Diploma in VFX (Visual Effects)
The Diploma in VFX is set within a more specialized context around visual effects, including visual effects related to film, television, gaming, and digital media. In today's world, any prospective student must know that VFX is a combination of creativity and technology, in which they need to understand the tools and techniques available in the VFX industry. This course is going to cover areas of learning in studying and applying compositing, rotoscoping, matte painting, 3D tracking, match moving, and simulation effects.
Students will gain industry experience with the industry software packages, which are used globally and are recognized in the field of visual effects. Students will work with or learn software packages such as Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator, Adobe Premiere, Adobe After Effects, and Autodesk Maya. They will also work through real-life projects and practical assignments. At the end of the program, students will be asked to prepare a professional portfolio displaying their visual storytelling knowledge and technical skills, and put them on a trajectory for employment in the evolving visual effects landscape.
