Diploma in Product Designing
A Diploma in Product Design is a vocational course that designers have developed to improve creativity, innovation, and function. This course prepares students to not only think about and design, but eventually develop products through investigating aspects, both to satisfy user needs and opportunities in the marketplace. From sketching, modeling, to material selection, students will be exposed to the end-to-end design process involved in consumer goods, furniture, packaging, and automotive industries.
The core of the curriculum would blend theory and practice, encompassing the entire spectrum of design thinking, ergonomics, sustainability, and design with software tools such as Adobe Illustrator and Adobe Photoshop. These are supplemented with industry projects and practical workshops, wherein students build up their portfolios and showcase their design talent and technical abilities.
